After delighting photography fans in Denmark and Hong Kong, the Hasselblad Masters Exhibition arrives in New York October 22, just in time for the opening day of PhotoPlus Expo. The 2009 Masters on Tour exhibition will be the main event when Hasselblad presents Celebration of Photography at MILK Studios.
The all-day celebration, which takes place in the Penthouse at 450 W.15th Street, will offer Hasselblad seminars, photographer workshops, as well as the grand opening of the Masters 2009 Finalists exhibition. 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Magnum photographer Bruce Davidson will provide personal portfolio reviews for professional photographers and young pros.
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Hasselblad 2008 Masters photographer August Bradley will present an exclusive live fashion and portrait photo seminar.
Throughout the day, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Hasselblad will offer three photo opportunities:1. A real photo studio experience with the H3DII-50, including tips and insights from Hasselblad applications specialists. Get the latest technology news and learn the real scoop about the most popular medium-format digital technology myths.
2. A live shoot with the new H3DII-50 and New York model Silvi.
3. Viewing of the Masters 2009 100 finalists’ images, 10 in each photo category, one for each of the 100 photographer finalists from around the world.
