We’d love to put a Hasselblad camera in your hands and have planned several scenarios for attendees to photograph including a fashion show. It may be fashion week in Milan but in Cologne, we’ll have our very own catwalk.
Renowned fashion photographer Tom Hagemeyer joins us again this year to direct a high-end fashion show with couture models staged on a catwalk that literally lives up to its name. You won’t find that kind of excitement on the runway in Milan and visitors will have the opportunity to photograph this unique event with the latest in Hasselblad equipment.
The Hasselblad team will act as your personal assistants and provide guidance in using the cameras when you need it. This is one experience you don’t want to pass up.
When you’re not taking pictures, the “Knowledge Bar” will again provide visitors with the opportunity to interact with Hasselblad’s engineering team, including the Director of Professional Camera Products, Peter Stig-Nielsen.
They will be available to answer your questions and give you a glimpse into the technology behind Hasselblad products.
Be sure to schedule time to attend “Hasselblad Presents”, where some of the best photographers in the world, including some current Hasselblad Masters, will speak to attendees about their work and careers.
It’s a great opportunity to learn and interact with photographers such as Jon Lowenstein, Tim Flach, August Bradley, Tom D. Jones, Scanderbeg & Sauer, Timothy Hogan, Adrian Houston and Stuart Weston. Seminars will be held at 10:30 and 15:30 daily, Tuesday through Friday. Be sure to pre-register online since seating is limited.
For full details about all the activities at the Hasselblad booth and to pre-register for the Catwalk experience and “Hasselblad Presents”, have a look at our new page dedicated to this year’s photokina.
And if you can’t join us in person, be sure to tune in to Hasselblad tv to follow our team as they cover all the news and events at the Hasselblad booth.
